Futuristic Hotel Interior Design
KLab Architecture has built a lot of hotels in Mykonos,Greece. The island is one of the most preferable tourist destinations in Europe and is visited by huge amount of people each year. KLab Architecture signed their hotels by creating a construction that combines the inland environment and the sea in a modern and spectacular way.
The Andronikos Hotel has been built in 1990. Recently Klab have made a refurbishment of some of the rooms of the hotel, thus creating a fantastic simple, elegant and futuristic interior design atmosphere. It looks so much like a contemporary office interior design. The curves that follow the designer lines are oval and pleasant for the eye. An interesting approach was to attach some of the furniture to the wall and show the creative thinking of modern and stylish interior designers.
Another great feature is the lighting design that has the task to underline certain elements of the interior. Almost all of it is hidden and is noticed only when it’s on. This creates a sense of intimacy and tranquility or cheerfulness and dynamics, depending on the visitor’s mood.
For the making of the design there were only local material used. The designers decided that it is better to use them in order to add the atmosphere outside from the inside of the hotel. Still more, the budget was really tight and they had to find a solution for this.
The result is brilliant.
