La Cucineria
When you first enter La Cucineria you will be fascinated with its unique atmosphere. Romanism and contemporary styles are well matched together in a perfect harmony that is ready to charm every visitor of the place. Elements like the Travertine flooring, 30’s grit used in the place and the tavernian feeling that the furniture around recreates, are making this restaurant so impressive. Everything in the interior is made in reserved manner combined with neutral colors thus creating a place where one can enjoy his meal in a calm reality, almost like in the home interior design. Have a look at the blackboards and you may find your daily inspiration.
Beautiful and well designed wall shelves accommodate excellent collections of fine wine that grabs visitors’ attention at once. Once they choose one of the elixirs, they can easily navigate trough the daily menu written on the walls below. Everything in this place is so elegant and neatly designed. It is a fantastic recreation of the old tavern styles in a contemporary and tasteful way. And it is not only the interior that impresses – the cuisine is also at top level.
The flooring of the restaurant is a clever combination between styles and materials. As we already outlined, one of them is the Travertine flooring. The other material is a hazelnut colored hardwood that softens the emotions and calms the atmosphere. What makes this place unique are also the industrial chandeliers and the ironwork appliques – each of them placed in order to balance the whole design concept.
The Cucineria has an open kitchen so that the visitors are able to see the cooking process on their own. Everything is at their disposal here. The restaurant attracts with its welcoming character and cozy interior with Pizza furnace, homely ovens, monument of fire and others. This is true signature of the traditional Roman restaurants!
