EXTRAORDINARY EVERYDAY LIFE
Two Swedish designers are determined to make ordinary life not so ordinary through almost imperceptible changes in the appearance and functionality of their projects. Architecture and design studio Taf was founded in 2002 by Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Stahlbom. Gabriella points out that what is important in their line of work are ideas, as it is possible to create a product with limited funding, which still carries great creative power. She is convinced that extraordinary objects bring us happiness and make us smile if only for a moment. That is why Taf’s starting point is to try and make ordinary objects, which are often so dull, look incredible. Their great advantage is the fact that they are both recognisable and bring a sense of uniqueness at the same time. And without us realising it, they change our lives.
Camper store in Malmö by TAF
In order to impress Camper‘s clients, the designers from TAF made something extraordinary. They bet on ice cream colors and lolly stick. Something crazy one may say. But this turned out to be the perfect way to arrange the store for shoe brand Camper in Malmö, Sweden.
