Wintertime comes very quickly and most of us spend more and more time at their homes. This is for you, home lovers! And for all those who like to spend their time at home in inventing new ways to change the interior a little bit or add an interesting and exciting new accent in some of your rooms!

Today we are going to talk about DIY room decor in all its nuances! Yes, that’s right! This means a lot of jars, wreaths, creative art, some interesting furniture and accessories. Just open your mind and let the inspiration flow into your souls. Let’s go!

Personally, I really like handmade things because they are personal as well as you can be sure that none of your friends will have one of them. This is actually not because of jealousy but because of creativity. It’s better everybody to excite and surprise other people and this way we are going to live in an interesting world! Don’t you agree? This is a fantastic opportunity for all of us to contribute with our skills to a better world through design.

Now, let’s pay some attention to the images include here. Well, one of my favorites is a storage rack for cup cakes which has been made out of old vinyl records. That’s right, records, baby! For all the vinyl lovers this will be a great chance to resurrect your old and forgotten pieces in to a new bright piece of DIY room decor. The other thing that made me really strong impression was the creative welcoming front door wreath made of rolled pieces of old book sheets. The paper rolls are wrapped with with burlap string and attached one towards another with paper glue. If you want to make one of a kind, don’t forget to write the essential “Welcome” message and stick it in the middle of the wreath. This makes really attractive and inspiring piece of decor that everybody will fall in love with!
