Malaga Restaurant
You will find this remarkable decoration on one of the walls in a restaurant in Malaga, Spain. The owner of the place is chef Dani García’s Mil Milagros and the project was made as a tribute to the legendary beer of Malaga – Victoria.
The composition is made using two different techniques – collage and painting. The central part is taken by a flamenco dancer, holding a bottle of Victoria beer. Actually, this kind of dancers are typical for the year when the Victoria beer had been launched – 1920.
The form of the decoration is given by the real objects included in it. Each element has its center made of silver salt cellers, clutters for pizza and pasta moulds. The colorful palette corresponds not only with the brand identity of the beer, but also matches in a perfect way the rest of the restaurant interior. It was inspired by the character, the taste and the aroma of the beer.
Over the head of the dancer is there is a hair comb and peineta made of porcelain toothpick holders and dishes. The accents elements are put over a black background.
