Italian manufacturer Segis astonishes with various ideas for chairs and sitting systems. Technological innovation, local tradition and international experience are the essence of successful design.Established in 1983 in Siena, Segis is part of Segis- Delight-Multipla Group. The company enjoys a rapid development under Franco Dominici, a president and a CEO.

The company philosophy is built upon permanent quality control, environment-friendly materials and technologies, presence on the global and, of course, cooperation with some of the most famous designers. Carlo Bartoli is the pillar of the company’s creative development. In the past twelve years he merited 14 awards, last of which was Compasso d’Oro in 2008 for the UNO chair. Born out of the cooperation with Fauciglietti Engineering, the product is the first to test the functionality of RGOG polymers. The chair’s seat and back are made from soft moulded thermoplastic elastomer with great ergonomics.

The built-in steel framework ensures solidity and stability. That innovative product proved Segis as the leader in the manufacturing of sitting furniture. It was particularly UNO that Segis put under the spotlight during this year’s Maison&Objet in Paris. There were also exhibited Bartoli’s latest creations – Highway and Meet-Me, as well as the elegant Yes Baby by Roberto Romanello.
