The Kettnaker’s are very consistent with their concept for modular furniture range since 1970s, when they design an alternative to dense individual cabinets – the modular systems.
With the years we see that the concept is revealed to a perfection. An example for that is the “Alea” furniture range. The innovation here is that the customer can combine the versatile carcass elements in different ways: they can be stored on top of one another, placed in different corners of the room, attached to a wall, or even strung together. The final ingredient is the customer’s creativity that creates the actual piece of furniture.
If we want one very individual solution, we can bet on “SOMA” system. Why that? Because for this modular furniture range we can choose among many different top, side and front panels depending on every taste or requirement, also the outer shell can be designed very independently of the inner core. It can be designed also a very different combinations of materials and colors – the company offer various wood and lacquer colors, anodized aluminum and also back-lacquered glass. The thickness of all the panels is 6 mm. and no matter what mix of materials is selected, the surface remains absolutely flush.
The creative freedom doesn’t stop with that. The designers use instead of screws – magnetic contacts, that’s why the panels can be switched or exchanged every time you want. Thanks to that feature, the customers are more willing to experiment and be more brave when choose shades or combinations.
