I simply adore this type of furniture and not because it looks attractive but because it somehow expresses a person’s view of the surrounding world. On the other hand I find it very attractive to observe how things can be used not only in their original purpose but they can also function as other objects. For example, some old worn out tires can quickly become unique and interesting small living room stools. This is what I actually did! There were four tires in my basement and I didn’t want to throw them away. So, I searched for some ideas and I found a way to make them a part of the interior. I made a small coffee table and two stools out of the tires and they look gorgeous! And this is how I got unique and creative furniture.

One of them are those ones that are actually DIY pieces, which has been made of traditional items with changed purposes. And the other ones are manufactured by professional designers. I must admit that both types are really amazing because they simply display extraordinary ideas in a modern way.

In the image collection here you will find some great ideas about stools and chairs. Personally, I love the little wooden one made of real tree trunk. Of course, the tree has already been dead and not a single living tree has been harmed for making this unique piece of sitting furniture.

This is another very favorite category of mine. And its is because these storage pieces of furniture are able to provide unique and hidden places for leaving various decorative items. The can be flexible or static but not matter what their designer concept is, they have always been fascinating me.
