But the designer Lior Danzig doesn’t think as most of the people and you can be sure when you take a look on this absolutely revamped old house, located in Even Yehuda, Israel. As you will see the final result is one sophisticated ergonomic home that is embracing its past. The atmosphere looks very breezy with a flavor of “rustic chic”, thanks to the interior designer’s decision to use old, second-hand furnishings.
In this home live the Danzig’s family – her husband, two daughters and parents. That’s why the new design is renovated to complete every single need of every member of the family. These days the most frequent is the open floor plan that includes the living and dining room, and the stylish kitchen placed in the corner. Everywhere in the house can be found a renovated décor, such as old sofas, retro lamps, washing machines and vintage chairs. We cannot deny that after their reupholstering, their presence is felt. For the children there is one large bedroom that was created from two smaller already existed rooms. Via some repainting and simple carpentry skills, the old deserted shelves and retrieved wooden pallets have been turned into gorgeous shelves.
As an end result we have one fabulous, breezy and eco-conscious Israeli house, and it shows that there is no need to use high-tech gadgets to create one planet-friendly style.
