Knock, knock! Who’s there? This will probably be the most repeated phrase on October 31st. Did you prepare your decorations and party items? If not, you just have entered the right place where different kind of ideas will grab your heart, I am sure. Today, I am going to meet you with some neatly designed ideas for Halloween wreaths.
Why wreaths? I have been to a lot of parties and I have always wondering what is missing. Everything looked just perfect, just fine, but I was always missing something. And once, actually I think it was last year, when I went to a Halloween party I saw this impressive wreath hanged on the door. And then I realized that this was the ideal item to cover the bold front entry door and it was just the right piece of decor that I was missing every garden or yard party.
And when we are talking about Halloween, we must be prepared for all these spooky ideas that make the holiday a memorable experience for everyone – both kids and their parents. If you are planning a party at your home or garden, I recommend using just a single wreath no matter what you decoration is going to be. It just makes a warm welcoming to all your guests and sets the holiday mood even before entering the house.
Halloween wreaths – What types are there?
Well, nobody can actually say how many types of wraths you will see. What is sure is that they can be either bought from your local store or they can be handmade by you. There are several ideas these idea and tutorial of creating a DIY wreath, so I am sure that you won’t have any obstacles in preparing your unique piece of decoration. I think that it is important for your to know that the colors should be either orange or black. Reds, blues and greens are not very common for a Halloween decor and you’d better avoid them. Well, yes, they can be used but if you are a real professional! On the other hand, you can use as many oranges as you can – they never will be enough.
Also, I am very keen on the idea that Halloween wreaths should also have some natural elements in it. I have seen one really impressive wreath with added real autumn leaves that have been collected in the neighborhood. The result was very attractive and my wife and me simply fell in love with it. It was so good looking!
Another great idea is to add some kind of message to the wreath. It can be handwritten and you can place it or attach it with glue or ribbon to the center of the wreath. This way you will not only meet your guests with a pleasant surprise but you will also prepare them for the party. A text like “prepare for the unseen” will definitely be of great interest to all your guests.
