Beachfront Apartment
ANTONI ASSOCIATES’ has recently presented their latest work – a fascinating beachfront property located in one of the divine white beaches of Cape Town, South Africa. Actually this is not a project that included an architectural project. At the lot, there was a property but ANTONI ASSOCIATES’ renovated it according to the client’s brief. The result is simply stunning – luxury minimalist apartment with breath-taking views over the ocean – probably the dream of most of the human beings. The apartment itself has two levels. On the ground level there is a formal entrance hall which acts like a prelude to the open kitchen ahead. A large screen wall with an open portal windows provides a great view over the whole apartment – an effect that the home interior design company wanted to achieve in order to create a sense for spaciousness.
Believe it or not, but the size of the original property has been reduced. For example, the double volume is not as much as it used to be, because of the disposition of functional areas. If you take a tour in the place you will definitely notice the cutting edge minimalist white kitchen design. Its hi-tech kitchen appliances are ready to take you to another level of cooking. The open kitchen naturally flows into the dining area and the lounge one. As you can see, such thing as strictly separated rooms does not exists. Every functional area follows the architectural plan of open space and formal separation. An ultra modern bio fireplace stands in the living room, ready to impress and warm the apartment’s occupants. This is a property of contrast – mostly black and white, which charms with its fluent minimalist interior design. And luxury, we must not forget. Actually, when we are talking about interior design style, we have to mention also the slight eclectic touch used as a method for creating the contemporary appearance. The mix of bespoke furniture and the homeowner’s collection of African art and sculptures adds a stylish eclectic character to the minimalist design.
