This gorgeous two-storey luxury house in contemporary architecture and interior design is situated in Los Angeles, California. The project’s name is Green Greenberg Green House and it reveals the architect’s attitude to nature. Furthermore, the shape of the house is designed in order to keep the construction inside form the strong winds at one hand, and provide it with natural ventilation system, on the other hand.
The house’s construction lays on the unusual shape of the site. However, the luxury house stands firmly on the ground and charms the occupants with its amazing curves. Daylight is honored here and the natural flow of air is just a little part of the inspirational environment inside the house. The facade is projected in order to follow the natural curves of the landscape surrounding the house. And, as you can see, the fluently curving lines create an impressive and picturesque reflection.
Inside the contemporary home, there is a central stair that opens enough space and functions as a passive cooler. It also links the public with more private spaces. A beautiful rooftop backyard is one of the amazing secrets that this house holds for its visitors and occupants. Solar panels are placed so that the house could generate its own energy.
In fact, the project is a part of the LEED for Homes pilot program and it has been awarded the Silver certification for 2012. This is a true and honest recognition for the innovative combination of contemporary design, high-tech equipment and sustainable energy strategy.
