Other people prefer to decorate the entire house with spider nets, skulls, ravens and all these scary stuff. I have seen some very amazing decorations, handmade of course, of black mirrors which have been turned in to a real horror object. As for the inside DIY Halloween decorations, I believe that some handmade garlands in orange, hollowed pumpkins as lanterns and sweets placed in hurricane jars with black or orange ribbons is enough.

Many families live in houses with enough place either in their backyard or in the front lawn or garden. This areas are just perfect for a garden party and that’s why you need to decorate the green areas with the most amazing items that you have made. If you want to make things happen quickly, you can always prepare a few paper garlands with scary writings on them. They look gorgeous! In order to bring some light in the night of Halloween, you can also use these kind of bulbs attached to a wire and hang then on the tree nearby. Another great idea is to place candles in small jars, outline and decorate the path to your entry door. I have seen this idea in one of my friends’ house and I find it just perfect!

Of course, parties are inevitable part of the celebration of holidays. If you are expecting guests you have to make the best effort to surprise them. If you want to make some handmade decorations, I will give you the perfect idea! Personalized guest cards with your guest’s name. You can make them out of card and write a personal message to each of you visitors. Then, place the cards at the table, in front of every person’s place. This idea is not only beautiful but also very functional. When your visitors come, they will easily find their place on the table and while reading the message, they will feel special, since your handwriting will be a true evidence for loving and respecting them.
