Luis Eslava was born in Valencia in 1976. He received his education in graphic and product design in his home town. Joining the design department of Camper in 2002 was the first big step in his career. His collaboration with the big shoe manufacturer, however, lasted for only a year since Eslava’s left for the UK, where he applied his skills in the sphere of design. In 2005 he defended his master thesis at the Royal College of Art and right after his graduation he established his own studio in London. Valencia, however, seemed more attractive to him and he soon left the British capital. In Spain he put together his own team and together they have been creating products and interiors for different companies all over the world. For the last couple of years his work has been exhibited in different places from London and New York to Tokyo and Seaul.
