Modern Pendants for Unique and Attractive Home Interior

Do you know what I really like about all types of pendants? I like their ability to completely change the interior of a specific room and make it look absolutely different from its original state. I have seen an old house where the homeowners didn’t have enough money to make a renovation of the entire house. Instead, they went to a local pendant’s store and bought some great shades that later they applied in their home. The results was amazing – their house was enlightened by modern lighting fixtures that actually made the place look more cozy and contemporary.

Modern pendants lights

They are great for modern, contemporary, minimalist or futurist interiors. I have seen a lot of modern pendants in urban apartments, lofts and condos as well as some really fine examples in large luxurious mansion with modern interiors. I like the modern light fixtures because they are very creative! If you pay attention to the traditional or classic examples of pendants you will find that they are not that intriguing as the modern ones.

This is a trend because there are more and more interior and furniture designers that produce concepts designs that astonish the world. So, let’s have a look at some great modern examples in the images here:

Contemporary pendants

When are talking about contemporary, we usually refer to modern because, to be honest, I believe in today’s world these two terms are total synonyms. But where you can find contemporary light fixtures. Well, again – in ultra-modern houses, homes, etc. In my trips to Europe I was fascinated by a Paris apartment. It had this high ceilings and polished parquet flooring in the fishbone stitch. The atmosphere was… almost aristocratic but some casual items and elements grabbed my attention. And one of them was the contemporary pendants used together with modern furniture in the classic interior. As you may have already guessed, the style of the interior was an eloquent eclectic with its charming light fixtures and designer solutions. And now, let’s see the images below.
