Summer Villa Ideas for Interior Design and Decoration

It is look like the summer in urban conditions is even more ruthless to the people, heated the asphalt and buildings to the maximum extent. Seek salvation during the weekends in a summer cottage on the sea or in the mountains. Here are a few ideas on how to furnish and decorate the summerhouse!

Villa – sea or mountain?

The main issue confronting the buyers of villa, is whether to be somewhere in the mountains or to be closer to the sea. Both options have their advantages. The summer cottage in the mountains ensures coolness, privacy, and serenity. The good thing is that it can be used in the winter months during the Christmas and Easter vacations. Since the soil is generally fertile, it can comfortably arrange a small garden or to grow any fruits or vegetables, albeit with amateur purpose.

On the other hand, a summer cottage by the sea is one of the best deals because it saves the annual costs associated with the summer vacation. There is no night pay, it is your choice to cook something to eat at home or outside, not looking for offers and promotions and do not comply with property owners or neighbors. The drawback is that the summerhouse by the sea is rarely used in any other season.

How to furnish your summer cottage?

The most important condition for furnishing the summer villa is to think sensibly and to follow the simple and clean lines. The reason is that in the most time you will not be there, so the luxury and expensive equipment will remain unusable, and are easy prey for thieves.

It will be the best to use the available range. Besides the furniture, which the summer villa has,you can also use old furniture from your permanent home, which are remained at the last repair. Remember that with the right approach, they can gain a completely different look and look like new. New trim, paint, or decoupage make miracles from the old sofa or old dining table.

Create different zones in the summer villa as in your permanent residence. Take care for the eating area (chairs and dining table) and bedroom, as instead of standard one you can use sofa or make a bohemian interpretation of the Princess and the Pea, arranging several thick mattress. Binding are also bigger wardrobe to fit all covers, and a library that is available for hours of relaxation.

As for the kitchen, summerhouse often creates suitable conditions for outdoor kitchen.

Decor of the summer villa

Although you go after a more refined style of furniture, it does not mean that we should ignore the décor of the summer villa. Use colorful and fresh accents in the interior textiles. Be sure to vary the dull walls with some piece of work (unless pictures are also suitable ceramics, photographs, and murals).

Choose a topic. If you have a summer cottage by the sea you can follow a sea theme and Mediterranean style. If you have a summer cottage in the mountains, you can choose between a traditional mountain hut decors, eco-themed and predominating green colors or to be inspired by the ethnic motives.
