Too Matched or Mixed
There is nothing worse than a monochromatic room, filled with objects and furniture in the same colour as the walls. Having a matchy – matchy space can really grind your gears. A totally white room may seem like a safe bet, but it will also leave you with a painfully boring room. A truly successful and balanced design will incorporate strong features balanced by some neutrals. It will make the room more vibrant. Like a certain theme? Don’t go overboard with it. Combine it with different accessories.
The opposite scenario is also not recommendable. Decorating an eclectic room is one thing. A place composed by random objects that have nothing in common is another. You need to find the balance between coherence and diversity.

Display your favourite books, paintings and knick – knacks. You can use your collection to cover an empty wall. Reproduced posters can’t replace a real piece of art. Work on different levels and try to incorporate texture, colours and fabrics.

Annoying Walls
When it comes to interior design, being adventurous is always a benefit. There is a little disclaimer here – it should be accompanied with some prudence. Or you will get avocado green walls in the bathroom or a vibrant red bedroom. If you decided to decorate with wallpaper, avoid the ones with too many patterns. Vintage is cool; “grandma” style is not.
