GOCCIA FROM GIESSI
Goccia is the new series of bathroom faucets by the Italian company Gessi. The eccentric design is a work of Prospero Rasuio and imitates a drop of wafer about to fall. The model comes in several varieties – attached to the ceiling and hanging vertically above the sink, with an elegant curve that ends up in a conical base, or coming directly out of the wall or the dining-room table. The structure of the faucet allows to save up to 50% of the water, without reducing its functionality. It is turned on and off by an electronic sensor, and an LED light colours the flowing water in red or blue depending on its temperature. The product was presented for the first time at the Cersaie exhibition in Bologna in October this year.
