A cubicle design where the rooms are clearly segregated with walls is well known for most of the homes located in Southeast in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. But over the time the trends are changing so most of the homes were shifted towards open floor plan interior design. On the 67 Jalan Binchang Str. there was a home that urgently needed to be revamped. The severe challenge was accepted by the experts from A D Lab. They brilliantly managed to transform this aged home into a glorious modern masterpiece, thanks to the sweeping, open interiors and snazzy extensions.
To be successful in everything you do, first you need to have a plan. The architects used the same approach for this project. They start with a cost-saving plan that involves the usage of the pre-existing structure and pattern of the house. The arrangement and internal plan needed to be redesigned and to resolve the problem with extreme tropical heat and unnecessary noise, as exterior solution was gotten a multi-functional permeable wall. When we enter the home at first place we see a floating staircase and a revitalizing pool. Then on the modern walkway we are stepping up to reach the gorgeous living room, kitchen and dining area that are placed on the lower level.
On the other side we have found a small home gym, a functional laundry room and a wet kitchen. Then we go on the second floor, where are placed the amazing master suite, and also three more and a family room. But the levels are not finished yet, there is also a top level, which is the amusement part of the house. There are a sweet entertainment area with a huge pool table and a stunning terrace where with a glass of wine you can enjoy magnificent views of the city. From a distance can be seen the flair and flamboyance that shines from this Posh Private residence, thanks to the enhanced isolation and fascinating lighting fixtures.
