Amanda Malson and Jolene Ballard (Domicile Interior Design) are the key figures in designing Ballards remarkable home. They wanted to create a place full of emotion and style, that charms with its tranquility and mature appearance. Their decision to use items found in the boundless flea markets didn’t turn out to be an easy task. Of course, their professional approach helped them a lot. They have some kind of a precise judgement about retail items and they used this advantage to choose only elements that were going to complete the beautiful interior design concept.

In case we want to put the design of the place in a frame, we have to say that it’s in eclectic style. In fact, Amanda Malson and Jolene Ballard are formal hotel interior designers that later became friends. Their friendship gave birth to Domicile Interior Design – a company with outstanding portfolio and lack of limitations when we are talking about creativity and inspiration. As a result the apartment they created is a fine balance between contemporary, vintage and classic interior design styles.

One can spot the golden accents in Ballard’s office almost immediately. All the furniture is in neutral nuances in order to accentuate on certain golden elements. They create a warm and welcoming atmosphere as well as they are perfect for working environment. Little tricks turned the office in a room full of magic. For example, the desk is actually a dining table found in IKEA. Another fantastic accessory in the room is the blue linen stool which has been upholstered after bought from the flea market.

Simply astonishing!
